Dr Chan's sub-specialty interest is in Paediatric Cardiology
Common conditions managed and procedures performed by Dr Chan include:
• General cardiac consultation
• Trans-thoracic and Trans-esophageal echocardiography for children and adults with congenital heart disease
• Ambulatory 24-hour Holter ECG monitoring
• Diagnostic cardiac catheterization and angiography
• Trans-catheter therapy of congenital heart disease
• Pre-operative and post-operative management of children and adults with congenital heart disease
Dr Chan received her clinic research training in paediatric cardiology from Royal Brompton & National Heart Lung Hospital in London, UK and The Hospital for Sick Children, University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She was formally a Consultant Paediatrician and a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Paediatrics, National University Hospital, National University of Singapore.
Dr Chan is a member of:

• Singapore Cardiac Society
She is also currently a member of the Medical Advisory Board in Mt Alvernia Hospital and sits on its Quality Assurance Committee.
Dr Chan graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree in 1981 and obtained her Masters of Medicine (Paediatrics), Singapore, in 1986. She was conferred a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree by NUS for her thesis on cardiac dysrhythmias in children in 1996.
