DEPRESSION

Depression is a psychological state of low mood and aversion to activity. Symptoms of depression include feeling sad, empty, hopeless, irritable and restless. A depressed person often loses interest in doing things which used to interest him or her.

Adjustment disorders are short-term mental conditions which occur when a person is unable to cope with, or adjust to, a particular source of stress, such as a loss of a loved one, a major life change or event. |

ANOREXIA NERVOSA

Anorexia nervosa is an eating disorder in which the sufferer has an intense fear of gaining weight together with a negative body image. The person suffering from anorexia nervosa can become dangerously thin. |
